Black Belt Testing Information

BLACK BELT TESTING INFORMATION:

Congratulations to all the students entering the qualification period for Black Belt testing!

To maintain the quality of all PMAA Black Belts and the integrity of PMAA organization, we are implementing a mandatory Black Belt Preparatory Camp in 2015 to better assist our members for Black Belt testing.

What is a Black Belt Prep Camp?

A black belt prep-camp is a 4-hour special event conducted personally by Guro Melegrito. This is an event available ONLY to those Black Belt candidates who qualify. The training will focus on the PMAA curriculum requirements for student’s Black Belt testing. Students must have the recommendation of Guro Melegrito and/or the PMAA officials upon completion of the prep camp to move forward to test for black belt in the next scheduled black belt testing. No Black Belt certificates will be issued in 2016 to students who have not met this part of their black belt testing requirements.

The Black Belt Prep- Camps will be conducted starting this year (2015). Students who are eligible to test for Black Belt in 2016 should plan on attending one of these prep-camps in 2015.

STUDENTS WHO ARE ALREADY SCHEDULED FOR BLACK BELT TESTING THIS YEAR (2015) DO NOT NEED TO ATTEND A BLACK BELT PREP-CAMP. HOWEVER, DUE TO THE REQUESTS OF MANY, VIDEO REQUIREMENTS CAN BE DOWNLOADED AS AN OPTION TO HELP THE STUDENTS PREPARE FOR BLACK BELT TESTING. (See bottom of the page)
